NASA launched $2.5 billion Mars Rover

NASA launched $2.5 billion Mars Rover, a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket to carrry NASA's Mars Science Laboratory (MSL). Curiosity rover lifted off from Launch Complex 41at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.

The rocket will deliver a science laboratory to Mars to study potential habitable environments on the planet. It is designed to search for signs of life, including methane, and help determine if the gas is from a biological or geological source.
